The Responsibility of Translating the Work of Other People
When i trans the work of other people, the crossing is fraught with a sense of greater trepidation because of the enormous responsibility that is bound up in the act. I really work so much by instinct, by touch and feel, and, in the case of writing or translating, by by sound. And if it sounds right, i tend to believe that it is right, or as right as it can be.
