The amount of research that's getting published in our field is increasing at an expedintial rate. If there were a hundred papers that would get published on a particular topic ten years ago, there's a thousand to day now. And so if you're already having trouble keeping up with it, it's going to be harder and harder to just no where the field is. I also think that like the research paradime we currently use, like generally parallel groups designs, will probably stay the dominant paradime for the foreseeable future. Where i would like it to go is a lot more of the sorts of studies that i mentioned previously. Like cross over design studies, like longitudinal cross-over design
