Adaptive Ride Experiment Number One - Can You Do It?
In 2006, I toured with George Irvin's fairground and took photographs of people. The images ranged from a slight look of mania to an out-of-body experience. In this particular ride, which is called Booking Bronco Adaptive Ride Experiment Number One, the participants control the pleasure of a rider who they can't see. It's kind of like a really nice Milgram experiment, where there's this power control but the result is to try and create pleasure in their rider.
