The workouts that really trashed me were short speed workouts. When I tried to, when I moved up to 5000 meters, I started to do longer workouts. It would take me four or five days to recover from those runs. And so that was a real, I think I left some really good races in the, you know, in the garbage can by hammering speed workout too close.
