The Evolution of Barefoot Shoes
When most people start to run, the first thing they do is walk. When you try on a pair of running shoes in a store, there's not a room for you to go running back and forth. Irene: Over the past 50 or 60 years, we have de-conditioned our feet. And now our feet need it because our feet are unable to support themselves well when you run. But I think if we had not accommodated the shoe to the runner,. We wouldn't have the musculoskeletal injuries that we have today.
