Complex vs Simple Carbohydrate

There is a lot of confusion about the terminology here of complex versus simple Carbohydrate. Those terms do not relate to the speed at which you can deliver Carbohydrate. Glucose is very rapid, fructose is very slow if it is ingested on its own. I would avoid some of the sugars or some of the Carbohydrates that are absorbed very slowly. There is definitely a little bit of discussion about that but I think generally you want something that is delivered very quickly.
