The Image of the Jew in the Middle Ages
I think the image of the Jew is nuanced and it is complicated. It always depends on context but also chronology. The 12th and 13th centuries really see the Jews become known as the Christ killers they're seen as guilty of the act of day-asides or the effectively move from being witnesses to participants in Christ's crucifixion. And again we see this in art earlier in the period depictions of the crucifixion mainly focused on Christ. Later in the period we get more of a panorama which shows Jews witnessing it perhaps shows Christ being stabbed in the side. All of these things just develop towards an anti-Jewish image.
