Doing One Thing at a Time
The author talks about how to embrace your finitude in his new book. He says the key is learning to do one thing at a time, rather than doing 20 things at once. A simple way of accomplishing this is by keeping two to-do lists - one as long as you like and another with just five slots on it. The idea is that each time you add an extra task from those Lists, you're making yourself feel more limited so they don't get done too quickly.
