Physiology - Is There a Difference in Left Ventricular Output?
With positive pressure ventilation, m and an, everything, everything changes. In that very minute too, when you have increased inter thracic pressure, you actually have an instantaneous increase in left ventricular prelod. So by saying someone is hypo volemic, ifSomeone is hypo alemic, it will exaggerate that ultimate decrease of leventricular ejection during inspiration. And so what we are seeing, manifested on the arterial wave form in these three different measurements, is essentially changes in cardiac output over the course of those couple breaths.
