Public company ownership certainly has a lot of advantages for companies and investors. We've seen increasingly over the last decades that public companies are really pressed to focus on quarter to quarter, even day to day earnings by their investors. And aside from that, the ownership in these companies is held primarily by a very small group of people. Private equity owned firms are more likely to go out of business than others.
