Deann Startup Stidham is the daughter of Maureen and Albert Start-Up. Her mother had a side hustle, trying to fight against the Equal Rights Amendment in the 70s. Deann's parents were very entrepreneurial; she grew up helping them out with their catering business. She also eventually got a job at her mother's bridal shop.
