I went to the first ever Internet Rehab Center in the world. They disproportionately get young men who become obsessed with multiplayer on online role-playing games like World of Warcraft and Fortnite, or their Fortnite and Existenit. The relationship between social media and social life is a bit like the relationship between porn and sex, right? I think it encourages people towards junk values as we've talked about and so on. For many people, if you're anesthetizing themselves with the drug and then they're just suicidly depressed, that's not good. It's why responses to addiction aren't always going to be good.
