Fluency is my new way to convince teachers that we need to teach in a more comprehension based way. You know, some researchers talk about complexity, accuracy and fluency m as the three components of proficiency. But when you look at how most people grade, it's sort of, accuracy, accuracy and accuracy,. So i think if we can bring fluency back into that, anything that you teach your students so that they can do it fluently and quickly, that's something that e really acquired," she said.
