Molly could get the gist of what she was reading, but getting through texts took forever. Reading was kind of like a game of 20 questions. She'd look at the first letter and come up with a word that seemed to make sense. It all worked well enough to keep her on the honors track through high school. Molly's problems didn't really catch up with her until it was time to take college entrance exams.
