There's just kind of an ordinary place in us and when we left our own devices, we get into it. The best way to practice gratitude is to have a gratitude partner. Even when life is more difficult, if you think about people that are grateful, you can sense the inner freedom. When I am really feeling appreciation, I feel a sense of purity.
