I don't like to wallow in my own self pity. So yeah, like I probably do downplay it. This is one of the places where you may want to say no. No, no, it's totally fine. It's just how I was raised. And I feel like I was. I wasn't given like these concessions that because you're a girl. You should be treated differently. Life happens. Suck it up and move on.
