The longer you take antibiotics in a situation like this, the more likely it is that something like this can happen. People who are immunocompromised are by far the most susceptible to drug-resistant TB. The WHO apparently needs to step up its game and actually practice what they preach. It's definitely more prevalent in developing countries, but it's also everywhere.
