Dos, Is It Helpful for Resilience?
Fun is enormously helpful for resilience. If you are having fun, you will be better equipped to handle whatever life throws your way. I derive a lot of joy from playing music together with people. That was obviously something that became much harder to do during the pandemic. But i continued to make it a priority. And those experiences give us this feeling of joy that then helps us in future periods where we're just feeling really isolated and alone and down at whatever the latest stage of the demic has brought. So if you're able to prioritize fun and open yourself to opportunities for fun in challenging times, it actually will help you get through them.
