There's a lot of leaders who don't like to be disagreed with, right? They they make their pronouncement and they're not looking for people to disagree with them. So you should feel really lucky if you have people that you can work through a decision with where they don't know how it turned out. I think part of the problem, and we know this from resulting, is that you know the outcome,. It actually distorts the analysis of the decision process so much it becomes this huge anchor. Once you have the outcome, it just, i overshadows anything else that could happen.
I have wanted to do this interview for a long time. On this episode, I am thrilled to have Annie Duke, former professional poker player and author of the new book, Thinking in Bets: Making Smarter Decisions When You Don't Have All the Facts.
