Acupuncture and Dry Needling for Soft Tissue Injury
When I had an acute traumatic injury from a ski crash, and I tore my calf muscle, I did acupuncture and dry needling. And it really helped. In the same kind of routine you have, it's not something you'd want to do daily. There is some, for sure, some soreness after it. We have some athletes that like to use it as for prevention as well; there is some studies that after you do it, if you train after needling, that it can reduce your performance.
