If you're struggling to name or identify the feeling, a different thing that you can do is try to label the sensation in your body. I feel like this also kind of works with like physical discomfort too. Sometimes when we start with the body rather than the emotions, it can get us a little bit into our heads. So if we go into the body, like, I'm feels it in my shoulders. I'm feeling it, you know, in my gut, whatever it is, like that can really help us access the emotion.
