How Cold Immersion Can Help You Lose Weight
Cold water immersion cold showers and the like actually help us lose body fat. This has been shown in my studies in rodent studies that they lose weight when they increase the amount of brown fat. We have seen this in mice but we have not found it yet in humans, he says. The winter swimmers who do cold exposure are much leaner because their metabolism is higher so people get more hungry also when they increase their metabolism.
