The Importance of Hard Skills in Software Development

I think anytime you're talking about a career pivot, that can be a little bit unnerving. So I would say is really lean in and start thinking critically about what are your transferable skills. Are you a good writer? Do you listen well? And can you think of examples of how listening and empathy have driven or informed a decision that you made in a previous gig? There are, of course, those hard skills that we've talked about, but I think they're, dare to say, less important than a lot of those soft skills. That would sort of be my advice.
