The Western societies are stuck on it is basically no pain nor gain, no pain, no gain. And also this is kind of more into even more perverse idea, which is basically saying now more pain, more gain. Neither one of these is necessarily true, especially the latter one in regards to eating and extending your lifespan. If you in fact, even further extension of the maximum lifespan by restricting specific amino acids on the diet, you can eat as many calories as you want. In fact, some of the animals, the head is amino acid restrictive. They kept eating two or three times more calories but still live longer.
