This is a chance to assess that in your life and then ask the question, if I let go of these things, could it be beneficial for me? There's an app I've used before during my previous breaks from alcohol that I do traditionally once or twice a year. Now for guideline number two, this is our chance to add in some new healthy habits or doing what I'm calling habit swapping. If all you're thinking about is what you're missing out on, you're going to miss the chance to focus on the thing you're adding in. That's where the real change takes place.
