It's not necessarily the ground reaction force that stimulates a lot of bone tissue to grow it's more the tendons pulling on the bone. When you look at gymnasts when they're doing their they're tumbling and stuff like that they tend to land very very stiff but if they were to land very soft that's going to give you the bigger bone forces or bone bone stress. The person who's going to get more bone load is going to be the person who's landing softer because the muscle is attenuating that impact.
