What Is the Best Diet for Collagen?

We can only synthesize about three grams of glycine a day. In terms of our total needs to support our collagen synthesis that may be falling anywhere between 10 and 60 grams per day short of our need. A plant-based diet is kind of okay because the plant protein doesn't tax your need for glycine as much or actually provides similar amounts of glycine without taxing your need for it as much.
