I've Always Said Yal, and Then Yins.

When i grew up in central pennsylvania, most people talked basically the way that i talk now. The poorer or more rural people i grew up with often said yal instead of you all. We are rapidly getting hipped to the idea that lots of people have never fit neatly into a purely binary gender paradime. But our language has binary, gendered pronouns. And this is particularly bad when we need to address a large group of people,. many of whom may not identify as ladies or gentlemen. So we really shouldn't address them as ladies and gentlemen. That shid is rude. Say yo. Yal is a good word. Every english speaker should say ya. The queen should
