How I Made the Switch to Consultative Sales

I competed in the national team selling competition where our team got second. That was the closest I got to sales and college outside of school. It just really felt natural to me. My dad was a B2B salesperson, but I never really grasped the differences until I got there. And you wouldn't have to work the extreme hours on weekends and sometimes nights that retail sales plays. So the benefits were much, much better.
