The Importance of Inflation Reduction Act Tax Credits
In the US, we make somewhere between 14 and 18 million cars a year on the new car side. We sell another 50 million used cars. I do believe that at some point it theoretically normalizes, but you got 300 plus million cars on American roads and only 3 million of them are electric. Even if 100% of new cars were made as electric cars, you wouldn't reach equilibrium in the car park for another 20 years. So there is going to be this great transformation. But I do think it's going to sort of come in waves.
