The Madhyamaka Kritik of Nagarjuna

There is no option according to which the notion of causal origination makes sense. Nagarjuna and the Madhyamaka School of Buddhism in general put so much weight on a distinction between two truths. So long as one is using language as it is meant to be used, there is no problem saying that the potter makes the pot. It is only when this making is taken as an aspect of ultimate reality or a theory of causation that we have moved away from the conventional use of the words.
