How Drag Generates in Swimming

The drag is any force that stops you from moving forward. There's a bunch of different types, but when we look at swimming from a practical point of view, we really are only looking at three types. We've got friction drag, form drag and head on frontal resistance. So it's just the simple resistance of water rubbing up against your body or the suit or whatever. That tends to slow you down. And finally before talking about the actual technique aspects of this drag obviously directs with these biomechanical things that we've been talking about.
