The Shock of Losing Your Mother
Grief is like a shock that doesn't go away when it needs to. I became so hypersensitive to noise, any noise would hurt my ears. My nervous system just went absolutely crazy. There was shame about the fact that I felt sort of like people looked at me like a victim. And there was one woman who was a real earth type and she was the worst mother on earth. She couldn't handle more than her own daughter. It made me very suspicious of all these other mothers because they were always looking out for their children's best interests rather than mine or anyone else's."
