The Law of Unintended Consequences
If it was found that conlangs could be copyrighted, my fear is what I always call the law of unintended consequences. What would that mean for language? Could you copyright then grammar structure? If you read something that somebody did in a conlang and think, oh, that's a neat feature. Let me try it on my blog?" Would I be infringing then? That would create a whole bit of complication. And that could, that could be the very bad consequences for the conlang graph itself.
