The goal of support work is to connect, connect, connect almost like building a scaffolding or ladder that allows us to do more specific work. If you just jumped straight to the specific work, the VO2 Max work, like you get pretty fast, pretty quick. But if you've taken care of all the kinks in the pipe, then that's going to have a much bigger effect and be sustainable than if you just jump straight to it.
