A lot of times when people hear about self-compassion and not being so hard on yourself, that it gets confused with shirking responsibility. People who are kind to themselves are also kind to others. What you practice grows stronger. Our repeated behavior, spots, emotions, shape our brain. If we start practicing this way of being with ourselves that is kind, then it naturally overflows into our relationships.
