The Posthoc Fallacy

The post hoc fallacy is thinking that because something happens after something therefore it happens because of something. We don't actually know that was a reason and there could be a number of reasons they felt better. The one I gave in the presentation was getting a cold so most people will have their go to remedy for when they've got a cold, whether it's hot drinks or tea and honey or you know painkillers or whatever but most colds go away on their own within seven days.
