Are Primates the Best in Endurance?
We have long tendons relative to muscles, and we run upright. We didn't have hair as much, and we have sweat glands that allowed us to lose significant heat. And so we had a thermal advantage and economical efficiency advantage. Other animals don't necessarily do that. So the tactic was start hunting when it's already hot,. Just keep going and going and going, and you'll lose the battle every single time until you win the war. That's what drove us evolution.
