Is There a Relationship Between Heel Height and Ostoarthritis?
The patel ephemeral joint is particularly susceptible to the height of a heel, or the thickness of a heel. So people should be perhaps looking for not necessarily the highest, thickest, chunkiest supportive shoes that are on the market. The thicker the heel, the more your knee needs to bend a little better so that can put more pressure through the knee cap. And we know that walking in shoes with higher heels, even moderately high heels, will increase the loads across the knee joint.
