The animated tool tips were a huge turning point in communication ability. Originally, when we were playing it, there was no dotted line ers know nothing. And adding the tool tips where you cold see what happens, just made the game instantly understandable to most people. You can't just have people memorize units and then stick them out in the world as you have to learn as they go. Yet, that's such a cool point. I thatita never even occurred to me and i spent a lot of time thinking about your ui. The way you could display it had a direct impact on the mechanics.
