Bob Greene: We're not looking for charitable solutions to problems that are structural. He says if banks start off the conversation by saying, "Oh wow, black people are less likely to get a loan from our bank," then they have to force themselves to change their practices. Greene: The goals that were set out in some of those statements, it's just harder for organizations to reach them.
