Adrian Zelizer: Part of your backstory was that you in your roles in PE saw, there was just this great anecdote where you saw these blue collar guys who'd built enormous businesses and sold them for I think like nine figures. You're like, wow, it's even more impressive what they built or is it basically all intact? Like, yeah, that's still the plan. He says he probably underappreciated how important it was to have a long presence in a business.
