The History of the T-Rex Skeleton

In 1990, Peter Larson and his team uncovered the most complete T-Rex skeleton in history. The fossil was found on land that was part of the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation. Sue sold for around $8.4 million to the Field Museum in Chicago. Clayton Phipps spent nearly two decades trying to sell his prized fossil. In 2020, he finally secured a buyer - but it didn't make him as rich as he'd hoped.
