The Acceptance Paradox
Buddhism and stoicism are two approaches to dealing with negative thoughts. Buddhist approach would have you get very curious about the feeling that you're having, simply stand back and watch it. CBT is something like a sort of subconscious attempt to grasp this complex and triggering thing we call reality. All our entire experience and limitations are overlaid onto reality in some way.
