Are There Brain Areas That Are Active After a Decision Making Process?

The pre frontal cortex allows you to take information from mory and combine it with what's happening in the present context. Reflexes, on the other hand, don't involve the frontal cortex in the same way. Decision making is metabolically demanding. It takes effort. But there are areas of the brain that were active after that decision making process. Those are the brain areas that turn out to drive the habit of avoiding particular foods and approaching other foods.
