Every economist i've ever known would tell you, of course we should have a tax on carbon. And maybe the politicians just don't do it ecause it's unpopular. You sayng, not adding a cost like economists want to add a cost to the bill to get usage down by two %. Anything you get for free, why not take it? That's your view of the world. Yes. It could not be more obvious. We're united in our opposition to the only chance, really, that the planet has of survival. I think this is the greatest failing of the economics profession ever.
