The Birthplace of Representational Paintings
I remember looking at your work when I first found you on instagram and I was still painting Representationally and I liked the thing I loved. It's a specific kind of line that I like now Which like you say I probably didn't then more scratchy thinner scribbly, you know messy almost three years ago. So what I'm trying to say by that is the birthplace of that for me was noticing that I loved it in somebody else's paintings But if all I did was carry on trying to make lines that looked like yours Or somebody else's who I loved That wouldn't there'd be nothing authentic in that. Do we know that we're really not doing something authentic?
