As a kid, i felt like, why do i constantly have to disappoint or just push against what they want? Like it's almost as if i'm doing it on purpose. But i really, i look back now, i wasn't. I was just sincerely doing my best. And so the lichorus of black sheep was something that i wasn't able to write until i was able to build my own home and, like, find acceptance and love within myself. The song is definitely a a reflection of that time. And sometimes even now, much less so, because i feel like i've taken, i may be growing up.
