The only way to get something new, a new commitment is to simply let go of the old commitments and consciously choose the commitment we want. Think about beliefs that would support the commitment you want to make. And then also think about the identity you would need to have, what kind of commitment would you need to make? Then that would lead to what kind of behaviors would lead to this. As you progress, I recommend you apply this principle. Get in your journal, think about an impossible goal and think about the current beliefs you have that would clearly stop you from doing that.
