Patrick Swemnick says cranking out two or three extra reps have that extra bonus. But can it be detrimental to us, especially when you think about your compound movement? If the goal is hypertrophy and even if the goal is strength, sometimes that makes a lot of sense but I wouldn't say that type of work is your meat and potatoes for explosiveness.
